After working in the wine industry for over 40 years for the likes of Penfolds, Seppelt and Mildara Blass, Mike and wife Judy purchased a property in Kenton Valley, near Lobethal in the Adelaide Hills, in 1998. Since then Mike Press Wines have set the benchmark for producing quality wine from estate grown fruit, at outstanding prices.

Planted in 1998 with 100-year-old cuttings from a Springton vineyard Noack’s Block, the palate has richness with ripe red cherries, blackberry and plums. It is integrated with spices and vanilla which has come from the oak. A balanced wine that can easily be enjoyed now but will cellar for 5 years and longer.
